KELSEY REYNOLDS
Congratulations Kelsey!
Hi my name is Kelsey Reynolds and I
am the daughter of Angel and the late
Clint Reynolds.  I am a senior at
Whiteland Community High School. I
have one brother, Jake, who is fifteen
and a freshman this year.  I am proud to
say that I am very involved at my school
and enjoy participating in various clubs
and organizations in my community. I
have played four years of varsity
volleyball and soon to be four years of
varsity basketball. I am the President of
National Honor Society, Chairman of
Student Council Booster Club, member
of National Art Honor Society, former
President of Johnson County 4-H
Horse&Pony, and a MABA member for
the past four years.
Next year I plan to attend Franklin College to major in Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy as well as play on
the volleyball team. I am looking forward to representing Indiana at the World Show (in Tennesee) next
summer. This will be my first time traveling to Memphis and I plan to make the best of this opportunity. I
hope to become Miss Buckskin World because I have been saving up for the past few years to be able to
compete at this level. Being crowned Miss Buckskin World would just make the experience that much
better. The prestige of receiving such an award would be something that I could carry through my future
showing career. My father passed away two years ago and it would mean so much to him to know that his
daughter followed through with her dreams. He supported me in whatever I did, especially through horses.  I
want to prove to myself and my family and friends that I haven’t stopped living just because he did. My horse
was born in our barn and my dad was certain that the horse and I would go all the way. I’ve done everything
in my power to make that come true. This would be the high point, so far, in my showing career. I know that
an opportunity such as this doesn’t come around very often and I want to take advantage of it now. On a
more personal note, this is one of the last shared goals between my father and I. It would please me to no
end to be able to tell my father “We did it Dad”.
